Introduction to Peterborough, Australia
Situated on one of Australia's most scenic stretches of coastline, Peterborough is a popular stop-off on Victoria's Great Ocean Road. The town has a permanent population of just 180 people, but it features a nine-hole golf course and several shops as well as a number of Peterborough hotels. The golf course is so scenic that even non-golfers have been known to take to the course for a stroll. Sports enthusiasts can also make use of the town's two tennis courts, while the local beaches compare well with many in the region and are safe for swimming. The town is part of the Shipwreck Coast and as such, it is a popular base for visiting scuba divers. In addition, it is the starting point of the Bay of Islands Coastal Park, consisting of 30kms of beaches and trails hosting breathtaking ocean views. Port Campbell National Park is just 20kms from the town and features one of the Great Ocean Road's most famous rock formations, the Twelve Apostles.other spellings: peterboroughhotels sa, peterborogh hote sa, petreborough otel sa, peterboruogh hotell sa
