Introduction to Pemberton, Australia
Staying at Pemberton hotels in Western Australia is unique because they are surrounded by the largest tree in Australia, called the karri tree. The town’s attraction is the National Park where you can see an array of trees such as the Diamond Tree or the Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree. Hotels in Pemberton are very basic although good enough for a night’s sleep. Most larger hotels can arrange tours with local operators for trips to the national Park or to see the Pemberton Tramway Company. Many of the hotels in Pemberton are located centrally in the town and usually have regular tours to see the wineries in Gloucester which is nearby. There are streams and dams in the National Park which also help attract tourists from overseas and from Australia to the town’s main attraction.
