Surrounded by lush forest and scenic national parks, Northcliffe is a small but vibrant town in Western Australia. Around 500m north of the town centre, visitors can learn more about the town's first settlers at the Pioneer Museum, on Wheatley Coast Road. Those travelling by train should alight at Northcliffe Station, 200m from the museum. There are a couple of active arts associations in the town whose works can be seen at the Windmill Gallery. Farther afield, Windy Harbour is just 30 minutes' drive from the town centre. There are some great fishing spots here as well as beautiful beaches. Moons Crossing, a popular beauty spot on the Warrens River, is located 17kms north of the town. It is particularly appealing to photographers, while all visitors can enjoy the fantastic picnic facilities nearby. Guests staying at Northcliffe hotels have the opportunity to visit Hillbrook Wines, one and a half kilometres north of the town. This family-run winery stocks wines under their own label, produced from a number of grape varieties.
