Introduction to Norseman, Australia
Norseman is located on Western Australia's Eyre Highway, which offers one of the most amazing road trips in the country. The town has become a popular stop-off on such trips and as a result, it has seen the development of a number of Norseman hotels. Around 15 minutes south of the town by car, visitors have the chance to complete a scenic bushwalk around the ancient Dundas Rocks. This rock formation is believed to be 550 million years old and is home to the Lone Grave. This is a single child's grave dating back to the 19th century and proof of previous habitation in this remote area. In the town centre, most of the commercial activity centres on Roberts Street, where there are some shops, cafes and restaurants. Guests who would like to learn more about the town's tourist attractions can visit the Norseman Visitor Centre, situated near the junction of Roberts Street and Sinclair Street. These attractions include a doll museum, Dollykissangel, as well as the camel statues at the Prinsep Street roundabout. other spellings: norsemanhotels, otelin norsemin, nrseman hotell, nersemin hote, noseman hotes
