Introduction to Noosa - Little Cove
Featuring the best of Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Little Cove sits close to Noosa Heads, which ranks among the most upmarket settlements on this stretch of coastline. Unsurprisingly, the main attraction here is the beach, which is excellent, especially for surfing - the Noosa Festival of Surfing is a major event on the circuit that brings in longboarders in particular. However, you don't have to be a pro to enjoy this lively, annual event from the safety of the shore. Little Cove hotels sit right beside the seafront and can be pricey given the rising stock of this area. There are plenty of great options to choose from, however, and many come with excellent restaurants and sea views. Nearby Noosa Heads is a haven for koalas, even if the population is in decline despite the presence of the Noosa National Park, which is trying to protect the species.
