Introduction to Mooloolaba - City Centre
Mooloolaba is a youthful and rapidly growing beach resort situated less than 100kms north of Brisbane in the heart of Queensland's Sunshine Coast. This central and convenient location makes Mooloolaba City Centre hotels, many of which are sited right on the seafront, popular bases for guests planning to explore the entire Sunshine Coast. However, Mooloolaba itself also has much to offer within its own boundaries, including the crescent shaped bay of Mooloolaba Beach. The Spit lies 500m south of Mooloolaba Beach, whose esplanade is filled with upscale cafes, restaurants, and bars. Next to Mooloolaba's wharf is the aquarium of Underwater World where visitors can safely swim alongside sharks and watch seal shows.
