Introduction to Kurrimine Beach, Australia
Kurrimine Beach is a small town located towards the north of the Australian state of Queensland and roughly 100kms south of the city of Cairns. Kurrimine Beach National Park and Maria Creek National Park lie to the north and south, respectively, while the King Reefs border the town's Pacific coastline. The town is off the beaten tourist trail, which adds to its appeal, ensuring a peaceful getaway for those who do visit. It is particularly popular among fishing enthusiasts, who come from all over the region to enjoy the excellent facilities. The beach stretches for miles, although it is not as beautiful as many in the surrounding towns, while the King Reefs, which extend for 200 metres from the beach, make swimming almost impossible, but enhance the fishing. Camping is popular in the area and there are also a few Kurrimine Beach hotels to choose from. Unlike much of this part of the country, Kurrimine Beach has remained untouched by major development, ensuring a wonderfully laid-back place to visit.other spellings: kurrimine beachhotels, kurimine bech otel, kurimin bech hotell, kurimin bech hote
