Grand Mercure Hadleys Hotel - Hobart

The Grand Mercure Hadleys Hotel, Hobart is located in the city centre, within a 5 minute stroll to interesting, historic Salamanca Place, Constitution Dock and the wharf. The Maritime Museum, local churches, offices and many other attractions are reachable within a short walk. The rooms are large and in good condition as are the bathrooms. They were renovated in 1999 and make use of the features of the old building. New carpet, Victorian furniture, mahogany TV units, leather armchairs, heritage baths, but modern, remote colour TV.

The bar and restaurant are situated off the Lobby and there is also a covered courtyard style Coffee Shop. They were also restored in 1999.

The lobby is large, comfortable and has character. Restored to 1850's orginal lead-light style.

National Trust Building painted in a brown / cream two tone colour which adds to the character of the building. Originally built in 1837.
