Superior first class hotel with a great location on the river and in the hub of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race (race commences 26 December every year). There are no true deluxe hotels in Hobart at this stage.

Rooms are of a reasonable size with all modern conveniences including tea /coffee makers and iron / ironing board. Can accommodate 2A 2C (up to 14 years) using existing bedding without charge for kids (max 2 kids). Many rooms have great views overlooking the Derwent River, city or Mt. Wellington.

The Cove Cafe is on the lobby level and Meehan's Fine Dining offers a-la-carte.

Modern 20 storey building, hotel rooms start on 10th floor to 20th with Conference Centre, lobby and restaurants below the 10th.
