Canyonleigh is a small village with a population in the region of 300 people in the Southern Highlands of the Australian state of New South Wales. This pretty little country retreat is one of the Highlands' best-kept secrets. The village offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding rivers, forests and parks. The village boasts many beautiful homes which are set in large areas of land. Many well-off people from the cities have uprooted to Canyonleigh due to the vast open spaces and extremely relaxed lifestyle. There is not too much to see in Canyonleigh, although there is a community hall which hosts the area's bush dances, popular among both locals and tourists. There may not be any Canbyonleigh hotels, but there are a number of other accommodation options, including farmhouse-style cottages. The village is in close proximity to the renowned Blue Mountains National Park as well as a number of other national parks and nature reserves.
