Introduction to Canberra - North Canberra
North Canberra, one of the oldest districts in the Australian Capital Territory, hosts the main shopping areas and business centres. Travellers can get here by flying to the international airport in the east of the city. It receives regular flights from across the country, with most arriving from Melbourne and Sydney. Arriving passengers can catch a shuttle bus which terminates conveniently in Civic Square. One of the most famous attractions here is the Australian War Memorial, situated at the end of ANZAC Parade.
