Introduction to Broome - City Centre
Broome is one of the most exciting towns in the rural region of Western Australia. It is found in the Kimberly district of northwestern Australia, and sits just off the Great Northern Highway. The town began as a small pearling settlement, but is now a major tourist spot, welcoming many thousands of visitors throughout the peak season. As a result, Broome City Centre hotels become quite busy, so pre-booking a room is recommended. The city is generally quiet, but contains a number of sites that are worth visiting. One attraction includes the Pioneer Cemetery, which houses the graves of those early settlers that established the town.
