Barossa Valley is in the Australian state of South Australia and is in the valley of the North Para River. The region is famous for its wine and vineyards, and this is a main reason that tourists visit the area. The wine industry is the biggest employer in the region. The towns of Nuriootpa and Tanunda are the biggest in the area, so have the most Barossa Valley hotels.
