Introduction to Adelaide - North Adelaide
Adelaide North is mainly a residential area of the South Australian city of Adelaide. It is situated north of the River Torrens and right inside the scenic Park Lands district. Even though this part of the city caters to local residents, that doesn't mean there aren't things to see and fantastic restaurants, bars and shopping venues. One stroll down O'Connell Street will reveal the wealth of dining and drinking options. Many of the Adelaide North hotels are historic properties, with no less than 14 of the hotels and pubs listed as heritage sites. Of course, there are many other kinds of accommodation options here, most of which lean towards the upper price ranges. With plenty of shopping along Melbourne Street and the Icon, visitors will no trouble finding ways to spend their money. Its seemingly perfect blend of public parks, the river and historic neighbourhoods makes Adelaide North an obvious choice for well-heeled travellers. Visit our Adelaide Travel Guide
