Walking: the atolls are perfect for walking but only the island of Gan has cycling. As there is no traffic to contend with and wonderful scenery this is really the best place for walking. Don’t worry, you can’t get lost!
Beaches: beautiful beaches are guaranteed in the Maldives. The beach sand is white and the blue waters clear on these idyllic beaches. An added bonus is that they are seldom crowded.
Exercises: there’s plenty of opportunity for indoor and outdoor exercising. Almost all the resorts have a small gym with basic amenities. Walking or jogging by the beach, swimming, snorkelling or diving are some of the exercise options that are available.
Golf: many of the hotel resorts have stunning golf courses right next to the beach. Generally, golf courses are 6 hole Par 3 courses with the average length to a hole being about 55 yards. There is usually a golf instructor on hand to provide the finer tips of golfing if required.
