Siem Reap Travel Guide - Things To Do

Walking tours: are an excellent way to enjoy exploring the many temples at Angkor. The area is large and there are guides who will explain the history of each wat and site you pass. The big circuit walking tour covers 26kms and the little circuit covers 17kms.
Mountain Biking: is slowly catching on in Siem Reap and has not yet become fully commercialised. Currently, there are only a few rental outlets located in the city but the larger hotels often have their own mountain bikes for rent.
Hot Air Balloon rides: taking a ride in a hot air balloon allows you to enjoy the view of Angkor Wat from an elevated height of about 200 meters. It's the latest in a long line of businesses that are catering specifically for tourists.
Helicopter rides: are offered by Helicopters Cambodia and are an opportunity to view Angkor Wat and its surrounding area from the sky. Helicopters can also be hired to fly to temples in remote areas including Prasat Preah Vihear and Preah Khan.
