Landmine Museum: was started by Aki Ra, who was a mine remover, for people to learn about the catastrophic damage that stepping on a landmine can cause. The unique museum is very small and filled with hundreds of disarmed mines. There are also many photos that record the disastrous effects of mines. Open: no fixed time.
The House of Peace Association: concentrates on keeping the tradition of shadow puppets alive. You will find many puppets of gods, demons and other figures, all of which are made with intricate detail and some are even for sale. Although not listed as a museum, it is a great place to visit to find out a little about puppet making which is a traditional Khmer art form. Open 08:00 to 17:00, daily.
Tonle Sap Exhibition: is an interesting exhibition consisting of photos, models and fishing equipment that are all connected to the Tonle Sap Lake. There is also a video which has lots of information about the lake and its importance to the region. Open: 10:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.
War Museum: has a collection of old Khmer Rouge military equipment and some mines. Open 08:00 to 17:30, daily.
