Phnom Penh Travel Guide - Weather

The so-called cool season is possibly the best time to visit, but the word cool is a little misleading here, it is certainly cooler than other times of year, but is typically pretty hot, tropical conditions. It is usually a little less humid at this time, which will invariably make conditions more comfortable. Rainfall is low and average daily temperatures tend to hover around the mid 30s.
During the monsoon season, sightseeing is not ideal as the streets can get very flooded with murky, muddy rainwater. The peak rainfall is towards the end of the rainy season, in September and October.
