Phnom Penh Travel Guide - Activities
Spa and Massage: Phnom Penh has a number of good options for those wanting to relax with a spa or soothing massage. One of the most recommended is Senses Salon and Spa on Sisowath Quay, where they have a range of treatments ranging from traditional Thai massage to facials, aromatherapy and wraps. For a relaxing foot massage after a day traipsing round the city, try Budget Island Massage, also on Sisowath Quay.
Swimming: aside from the pools at some of the city's top hotels (Le Royal and Intercontinental for example), there is also a public pool at the Olympic Stadium. The pool is full Olympic size and there is also a diving pool available. It is reasonably priced and a good option for a cooling dip.
Go-Carting: Phnom Penh has a couple of options for go-carting, the best of which is Kambol F1, situated about six miles from the airport. It's reasonably priced and on Sundays they organise races if you're feeling competitive.
Golf: isn't quite as popular as in some other countries in the region, but there are still a few choices for those who can't miss a round when on holiday. The nearest course to the city centre is the CVK Royal Golf Club, three miles south of the city and the Cambodia Golf and Country Club is located on Route 4, 22 miles south of Phnom Penh.
