Introduction to Sihanoukville - Ochheuteal Beach
Ochheuteal Beach is one of the most popular beaches along the Cambodian resort of Sihanoukville's shoreline. It is about three kilometres from the town's central bus station. This beach stretches for about three kilometres between Serendipity and Otres beaches. It is lined with shade-giving casuarina trees, under which are a profusion of restaurants. Fresh seafood, pizzas and amok curries are among the diverse culinary delights that can be found here. Most eateries offer sun loungers and grass parasols for diners' comfort. As well as swimming and snorkelling, holidaymakers here are able to enjoy jet-skiing, banana boat rides and dive tours to offshore islands. Shops and vendors in the beach area sell travellers' necessities, beachwear, casual clothing and unique souvenirs. There is an excellent selection of Ochheuteal Beach hotels on the street that runs parallel to the beach and in the lanes that lead away from it.
