Introduction to Salta - City Centre
Salta is located in the northwestern corner of Argentina and is famous for its incredible architecture. The city is dotted with 18th and 19th century buildings. In fact, many Salta City Centre hotels are located in architecturally stunning buildings. Among the main landmarks in the city are the main cathedral and Colonial Cabildo, the Old Town Hall. European visitors will be stunned by the Spanish feel of the city centre. Strolling around the pedestrian-only streets of Alberdi and Florida is a must. The best views of Salta can be had from San Bernardo Hill, which can be reached by cable car or simply by walking. To learn about the history of the people around Salta, visitors should head to Anthropology Museum. It takes a whole day to ride the Tren a las Nubes, or the 'train to the clouds', which takes passengers through the Andes right to the border with Chile. Booking ahead is a must and visitors will be amazed by the views.other spellings: saltahotel, selta hotell, saltar hote, saata hotles, sallta hotle, de saltha hotes
