The area known as Johsons Point is a beautiful stretch of coastline in the southwestern pocket of the phenomenal island of Antigua, in the Caribbean. Although there are many different beaches found throughout the island, this area is a great place to enjoy natural scenery and a relaxed atmosphere. Johsons Point hotels are not as exuberant and elegant as some of the other accommodation options found in the larger settlements of Antigua. However, they are still extremely comfortable, and mostly close to the various beaches in the district. The main attraction at Johsons Point is the beach. The water remains relatively calm during most seasons, and the fact that there isn't a lot of people means scuba diving and snorkelling here are popular activities to experience. The restaurant choice is somewhat limited compared to other areas of Antigua, but visitors can nevertheless find welcoming places to eat. The area can be reached using the Valley Road link which connects directly to Jolly Harbour and eventually St Johns.
