Introduction to Encamp, Andorra
Encamp is a major town in Andorra and the capital of the large parish of the same name. It shares a border with France and other towns in the parish include Grau Roig, El Pas de la Casa, Les Bons and Vila. El Tremat is nearby as is la Mosquera. Some Encamp hotels overlook the towering Pic dels Pessons, which at nearly ten thousand feet is easily the tallest mountain in the parish. Hotels in Encamp range from the upmarket ski resorts and their luxurious facilities and conveniences, right through to campsites and camp grounds on the outskirts of town.
